Mahakumbh Echoes with Flower Shower, Devotees Elated with Chants
On the final Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025, the Yogi government showered flowers from a helicopter, the Sangam coast echoed with chants.
MAHAKUMBHNAGAR: On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, the Yogi government showered flowers from a helicopter on the devotees during the final Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025. Naga ascetics, saints, and devotees were overwhelmed by the rain of flowers at all the ghats and akharas. They chanted Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev.
The flower shower began at 6.30 in the morning, when the Amrit Snan of the Akharas was in progress. Everyone present at the Sangam coast was delighted to see the rain of rose petals. This flower shower was done on all the bathing festivals of Mahakumbh, for which the horticulture department had made special arrangements.
