Grand Inauguration of the 15th National Indoor Field Archery Championship
The 15th National Indoor Field Archery Championship was inaugurated at Seth M.R. Jaiupuria School, Lucknow, with participation from 1800 competitors across 22 states. The event featured cultural performances and demonstrations.
Lucknow : The 15th National Indoor Field Archery Championship was inaugurated at Seth M.R. Jaiupuria School, Goyal Campus, Lucknow. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Angad Singh (MLC Barabanki), Dr. Kavita Pathak (Director of Marketing Area, Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow), Subhash Chandra Nair (Joint Secretary of Archery Association), Ram Babu Dwivedi (President, IFAA UP), Principal Dr. Reena Pathak, Mahesh Agarwal (Chairman, Goyal Group of Institutions), Director Alok Jain, Arun Khakkar, and Nidhi Jain (General Secretary, IFAA), who lighted the ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the event.
A total of 1800 competitors from 22 states participated in this prestigious event, showcasing their dedication and passion for the sport. The inauguration announcement was made by Mahesh Agarwal, Chairman of Goyal Group of Institutions, and Dr. Reena Pathak, the Principal, on November 26.
The competition, hosted by Goyal Campus under the leadership of Mahesh Agarwal, included various cultural and skill demonstrations, such as Ganesh Vandana, a dance based on the five elements, rope skipping, football juggling, yoga, and archery demonstrations, which captivated the attendees and guests.
On this occasion, Dr. Reena Pathak defined the competition with the acronym "ABC" – Arrow, Bow, and Concentration. Mahesh Agarwal welcomed the guests with mementos and encouraged the athletes with words of motivation, making the event a remarkable success.
