Mahakumbh 2025 : One-Way Route for Devotees, Smooth Movement on Pontoon Bridges

Mahakumbh Nagar. A special crowd management plan, named Operation Eleven, has been implemented for the Basant Panchami Amrit Snan during Mahakumbh. This plan has been formulated under the strict instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure the safety of devotees. A one-way route has been designated to streamline movement, and special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth passage on pontoon bridges without any inconvenience to visitors. Additionally, extra police forces and senior officers have been deployed at Triveni Ghats to prevent excessive crowd pressure, with increased barricading for enhanced security.

On Basant Panchami Amrit Snan, strict enforcement of the one-way traffic system will be observed. To facilitate the smooth movement of devotees and regulate traffic due to the large influx, major routes will undergo traffic diversions. Most pontoon bridges will remain open for movement, and additional police forces and barricading will be in place to manage crowds at bathing ghats.
