Spiritual Reflections Mark Guhaparv at The Good Shepherd Church in Kanpur

Kanpur. A serene yet spiritually uplifting atmosphere prevailed at The Good Shepherd Church in India, located at Goba Garden, Kalyanpur, as the church organized a special observance of Guhaparv this afternoon. The event, which took place from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, brought together a large number of Christian devotees to commemorate the profound sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ.

The program commenced with a deeply moving hymn, "Main Azaad Hoon" (I Am Free), setting the tone for the devotional gathering. The event was presided over by Bishop Pankaj Raj Malik, who addressed the congregation with a powerful message centered on the significance of Jesus’ crucifixion. He emphasized that the burden of humanity’s sins led to Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the cross, symbolizing redemption and eternal love.

Following the bishop's address, seven pastors shared spiritual insights on the Seven Last Words of Jesus spoken during his crucifixion. Each reflection brought forth deeper understanding of compassion, forgiveness, and the divine purpose of suffering. These words, still echoing across time, reminded the faithful of the transformative power of sacrifice and salvation.

One of the most enchanting segments of the afternoon was the musical offering by the Paradise Angel Band. Their renditions of worship songs like "Main Haath Uthakar Gaoonga" (I Will Lift My Hands and Sing) and "Maine Dhoonda Hai Saara Jahan" (I Have Searched the Whole World) left the attendees emotionally stirred. The soulful music not only enhanced the spiritual ambiance but also inspired heartfelt worship among the audience.

In attendance were several prominent figures of the local Christian community including Mrs. Anupama Malik, Pahari Satyendra Srivastava, Sagar Massey, Anuraj, Mrs. Sharon, Shreya Raj, Abhimanyu, Saurabh, Raj, Ricky, Aman, Elvin, and Manish Lawrence. Their presence added grace and strength to the gathering.

To conclude the devotional experience, refreshments were served to all participants, providing a space for community bonding and spiritual dialogue.
